J.T. the L.A. Storyteller, also known as the creator of Los Cuentos de Los Angeles, has published essays, poetry, and more for L.A. since 2014. Articles focus on policy-making in the city, housing, California history, and more. I also organize to bring literary arts and communities together through my nonprofit, Quien Es Tu Vecindario.

In March 2021, I developed the first-ever discussion series and educational program on Redlining, Gentrification and Housing in East Hollywood.
